Who am I?
Welcome to fly with me, sumercé.
I grew up among mountains and rural traditions in Colombia. I trained as a forestry engineer and as a tour guide specialized in birds.
from 2017 with Asherita viajera I have been transforming my passion and purpose into a digital bridge that connects people with nature, communities, and regenerativity.
Today I am an educator at the service of conservation,convinced that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to plant awareness.
So far, I have observed 1253 bird species in 7 countries and counting, and I have participated in more than 10 international conferences. Speaking about the importance of conserving the most delicate ecosystems in the green heart of the world: COLOMBIA.
Milestones in This Journey
2022: First international talk at the Santa Rosa de Copán Bird Festival in Honduras.
2023: Second international talk at the Chiapas Birding Festival in México
2023: Attendance at the Florida Birding Festival in the USA
From 2022 Alliance with Biotácora Colombiaawarded with the Tourism Merit Medal in 2024..
COP16 (2024): Being the face of biodiversity in Colombia with my photo exhibited for one month at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá.
From 2022 with Bauen Projectconnection with campesino and Indigenous communities and the planting of 10,000 native trees in páramo ecosystems (2025)..
Present: Networking with leaders in the U.S., Brazil, and Colombia in economy, environment, and community.
